“Hi my name is Merino! I am a very sweet boy, with a kind and gentle disposition. I am a bit shy to start off, but with your patience and time, my curious nature gets the best of me. Once I get to know you a little better, I am an affectionate little guy who enjoys your pets and love. My brother, Argyle, and I are best buddies and must be adopted as a pair. Since we are young, born in 2016, we are still curious and playful, and very fun to watch! We just need a home to call our own. We are a very cute, smart, and handsome pair to add to your family. Please come by to meet us soon!”

About Homeless Cat Network

About Our Rescue Group...

Homeless Cat Network works hard to help cats and kittens in need on the San Francisco Peninsula. We provide advice, support and guidance to people who have found and wish to help community cats, and our volunteers do hands-on rescue work.

Our lifesaving initiatives focus on solving the root problem of cat homelessness and include: TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs for feral cats; kitten rescuing, fostering and adoption efforts; educational outreach; responsible community cat colony management; and mentoring people to help cats in need. We also have a unique Socialization Center, which gives abandoned, abused and neglected adult cats the chance to heal from their emotional and physical wounds and find the home of their dreams. All of our efforts work toward a single goal: to bring about a day when there are no more homeless cats, and with your help, we'll make that dream come true.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process includes:

(2) An in-person meeting with the cat and an HCN volunteer; and
(3) A home visit to discuss safety and adjustment issues, prior to the adoption.
An adoption contract will be signed and an adoption fee collected.
