This stunning purebred Ragdoll girl is as sweet as they come. Sadly, since her beloved human mom passed away, she has gone through a difficult adjustment time and is feeling sad. Anyone that is familiar with the Ragdoll breed will have either read or experienced first-hand that these loyal companions with their deep connection to their humans can have a harder time adjusting than some other purebred cats.
Shyla was adored and beloved by her deceased owner. They slept together on the same bed and she was treated like a cherished child. Her caretaker, the daughter of the deceased lady, does not have the time to devote to this lovely girl. She has to take care of her senior father and other pets that her mother left behind as well as her own.
Thus, the simple but so important needs of Shyla are not being met. This stunning girl requires daily grooming, love, and attention. Shyla needs someone that can interact and deeply connect with her on a daily basis. Someone who treasures the joy that comes from brushing their gorgeous feline – oh, yes, Shyla enjoys brushing very much. Someone that lets her sleep with them, and that wants to have interactive conversations with her. Someone who is looking for an affectionate, playful kitty and who likes to bestow kisses on their exquisite feline companion.
This lovely girl deserves a calm home, preferably as a single kitty because of some of the trauma she has experienced. We prefer that she is not placed into an environment with small children who often don’t understand the boundaries of a mature kitty. You might find it interesting that her age in human equivalent years makes her ~56-60 years with many more happy and interactive years to look forward to. She is ~ 16 lbs of fluffy love.
