My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE: AVA has been adopted!

May 14th, 2017. AVA is maturing nicely and loves her people to the moon and back. AVA is still looking for an adult home (she is not suitable to live with kids) that have previous, large dog experience. She is 5 and half months old and weighs approx 42 lbs. AVA still needs reminders to do her business outside but is now asking to be let out. Her skin/coat is clearing up while her immune system improves. We are recommending AVA be the only pet at this time as she does resource guard her food from other dogs but is learning her meals will always there for her now. She has improved immensely thanks to her awesome foster home. AVA LOVES to relax by the fire, play with her toys and snuggle up for some hugs. She is a LOVE!

April 6th, 2017. Little AVA is new to us so please check back for updates as we get to know her. She is a 4 month old Lab/Husky cross. AVA was already spayed by the shelter she came from in Chilliwack. She loves most people she meets however, she is not comfortable around young kids and is best in a home with large dogs over small dogs. She plays nicely with her foster brother Tracker and will wrestle for hours. We are working on AVA's LOVE for FOOD and that she doesn't need to guard it. AVA will need an active, dog experienced home within the lower mainland of Vancouver. We do NOT do cross border adoptions. Ava can be very vocal when left alone therefore a detached home is best for her at this time.
