Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pippen, or Pip, is a very sweet 10-year-old lady with lots of love to give. She is a beautiful silky tuxedo with cute face markings, and has the prettiest green-blue eyes. She loves people and will sit on your lap, sleep under the covers with you in the winter (save on heat!), or just seek your company by sitting near you, preferably touching a foot or leg.
When you walk into the room, Pip greets you and chats with you for a little, and then settles down close by. While you pay attention to her, she purrs non-stop. She is a calm, relaxed cat, but enjoys some play time as well. Her favorite toy is a string toy and she loves to chase it around or catch it from the air.
Pippen is back with us after being adopted five months ago. She’s hoping for another chance at a forever home. Her adopter was in tears when she brought her back, but Pippen was having litter box problems and we were unable to solve them. Pippen had good litter box manners while in foster care. But in her new home, she regularly peed just outside of the box no matter what we, or the adopter, tried. We just can’t figure out the reason for her departure from good habits. But, as we are dedicated to finding a forever home for every pet in our care, Pippen will be fostered by us until she finds her forever home, and forever litter box.
We recommend that Pippen be an only cat but will consider applicants with a low-key resident cat. And ask that a slow, proper introduction take place. We do not have a foster-to-adopt program, and normally do not make this type of arrangement, but in Pippen’s case we will. If you would like to add Pippen to your home, but want to make sure she’s comfortable with the litter box set up in your home, let’s give it a shot. Complete a foster or adoption application today.
Pippen resides in a loving foster home and is having no liter box issues. Approved applicants may visit with her.
