Abbie & April's Story...
These adorable dark brown tabby sisters born about February 12th are now available for adoption. Abbie is the long haired one and April has medium length. Both are spayed, had initial shots and basic treatment for worms. These precious babies were rescued from outdoors by a sweet elderly couple who had been feeding their mom. They are well socialized and enjoy being held and purr with pleasure. Like typical kittens they are curious and playful. There foster mom would prefer for them to be adopted together. Litter box trained and used to nail trims. Adoption fee of $85 apiece but both for $130. Please contact their foster mom Judy at 913-383-1584 or email her at judythump@sbcglobal.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abbie & April, a Overland Park Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
