Hello! My name is May and I am a very sweet, red and white beagle that is finally ready to start looking for my forever home. I was a pregnant mama when I was rescued in January from a hoarding situation in South Carolina. I gave birth to 10 beagle-mix puppies on January 7th during my transport to New Jersey. I was such a good momma, but when my puppies were old enough, I made sure that they all found their forever homes. I hope that I can be just as lucky as they were in finding a permanent place to live.
I am approx. 4-5 years old and weigh 31 lbs. I am a shy girl, but am making progress with it every day. I don’t really remember what my life was like before I arrived in Rescue, but I do know that I won’t have to worry about giving birth to any more pups now that I am spayed! I will also always have food in my belly and a comfy bed on which to sleep, thanks to Penny Angels! I was recently treated for heartworms and will go home with a 6 month supply of Heartgard. I am using the doggie door in Rescue, but might still need a little help with housetraining when I go to my new home. A quiet home would probably be good for me. I will be at Petsmart on Saturday so that people can meet me. If you are interested in adding me to your family, please fill out an application and submit it to Penny Angels.
