Terrier mix Faber is one amazing dude! At a tiny 28 pounds and 8 years old, this guy is as sweet as it comes. He is a goofy and affectionate little guy! He seems to pull at the heart strings of everyone he meets with his sweet face and constantly wagging tail. He is a social butterfly at the dog run and plays well with every dog he meets – even the hyper puppies! He is extremely passive and shares well with my other dog. At home, he is very chill and loves to cuddle in your lap or snooze in his dog bed. He has some very adorable quirks – including how he talks when he’s happy or getting affection and how his top lip gets stuck in his teeth resulting in a very funny face. Faber has been a joy to foster thanks to his resilient, well-adjusted and easy going nature.
He is working on basic commands and getting very good at sit. Faber is a fabulous taxi rider and seems to love looking out the window. He is very well behaved when left alone and is not crate trained because of it. Faber is a quiet guy and has yet to bark though he may when settled in!
Faber is house trained and knows to go outside. He will also alert his foster mom when he has to go. He LOVES walks and is learning to walk well on a leash and doing a pretty good job at it! He especially adores the park where he can sniff around and lounge about in the grass.
He is an extreme cuddler and very affectionate. He loves to lie in your lap and cuddle close to you on the couch. Faber enjoys being pet and is very popular at the dog run because of it. He will go up to each and every person to say hello and receive some love! He is very gentle and would do great in a home with children.
