Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Billie was surrendered by her owner to a Texas shelter. Billie is a wonderful girl, house broken, leash trained and loves water. Yep, she loves the kiddie pool! It is possible Billie can live with the right male dog; she is friendly with all people of all ages too.
When we first took in Billie she was emaciated, and at the time we felt that was the cause of her weight. Further testing showed Billie had EPI which is a genetic condition where the digestive system does not make enzymes to digest food, thus the dog will starve despite being fed. Since we now know what is going on with Billie, we understand that all she needed was a enzyme added to her food daily. Cost is $40 dollars a month, and that is all. She is healthy, and with the added enzymes in her food daily she will live a long and happy life.
