Meet Teddy a 2 year old neutered male Akita who comes to us from a city shelter in PA. Teddy's owner turned him in stating he had no time for Teddy. Per Teddy's owner, Teddy did live with cats and other dogs as well as children between the ages of 5-10 years of age. Teddy came to us extremely under weight. This was due to the fact this poor guy was full of worms. He has been treated and has recently started to gain some much needed weight and looks great. Teddy is a great boy, sweet, well mannered, active, and willing to please. It is possible with proper introductions Teddy can live with the right female dog. Teddy does need some leash work, which we are working on. This is a great young dog that will do well in a home that is active, children should be ten and older and know how to respect the Akita breed. Is Theodore the right fit for your home?
