This dear boy was dumped in a kind-hearted person's yard. She could not bear to take him to a kill shelter but she has other dogs and couldn't afford to take on another one. It broke her heart because he's such a sweet, friendly boy and gets along well with other dogs so she reached out to 2 other rescues and they refused to take him. She came to us and we responded with love in our hearts.
He is about 5 years old. He's a mixed breed, that probably has some Chihuahua in him. had previously been neglected and has flea dermatitis which we'll clear up with medicated baths and medicine. Can you imagine the agony? Being bitten so badly and itching constantly? That would drive most of us nuts but it hasn't affected this sweet boy's personality one bit. He's calm, gentle and very loving. We're glad he's in our care because we're going to be very sure that when he's healed and ready, he unites with a family that treasures him. It's going to be worth watching this boy transform into a healthy, happy pup. We invite you to join us on this journey.
