Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hercules is an adult male Chihuahua who arrived at the HSOV on April 24, 2017 after a Good Samaritan found him in the Marietta Ohio area and brought him to the safety of our shelter.
Hercules has a tan short smooth coat, a long tail, and a cute face with characteristic Chihuahua features including large erect ears. This little guy was pretty nervous being in an unfamiliar place for the first few days he spent with us, so we gave him extra TLC and a nice blanket-filled bed so that he could 'chill out' and relax. Turned out he loved sharing an office with our Adoptions Clerk and quickly warmed up to her. Gradually he began to widen his circle of friends and actually began to show his playful side after a week or so. Hercules does not rush into relationships :)
Hercules is a petite little man who likely weighs less than 10 lbs.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Hercules was held for three days so that his owner would have an opportunity to reclaim. He is now available for adoption since he was not reclaimed.
Hercules left the shelter on May 10, 2017 with his foster mother (who has plans to officially adopt him after he is neutered) He has now been neutered and was officially adopted by his new family on June 9, 2017.
