My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Drake is always happy and wants to make friends with everyone. He loves the water and has a small swimming pool at his foster home. He loves to splash around and cool off on these hot summer days. He doesn't realize he is any different than any other dog. He is up for anything at anytime.
He had his surgery Monday, May 1st to get his leg amputated. He was also neutered and got his microchip.
He's only about 1 1/2 - 2 years old, heartworm negative and has all his vaccines current now. He weighs about 55-60 pounds of pure muscle.
Drake was pulled from our local shelter picked up as a stray. No owner ever showed up to claim him. His leg had a birth defect that left him with an unusable leg. It got in the way at times and he risked getting it hurt and infected. He doing GREAT as a tri-pod.

His adoption fee is $120 but we do accept donations to help defray the cost of his surgery and medical care.

If you are interested in adopting, we encourage you to fill out our adoption questionnaire at http://members.petfinder.com/~MS72/adoption_app.html
