Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lucky!
Lucky is approximately a 4 yr old (born 2013) male White with Grey Kitty. He is house trained, up to date on vaccinations and is neutered.
Lucky is, well he’s one Lucky cat! We don’t know his whole story but we know that he is a fighter. He proved that about 5 weeks ago. It was an awful rainy cold night and one of our volunteers arrived home after a long day out. Lying on her front lawn was the most pathetic, saddest looking, hurt cat that she’d ever seen. She scooped him up and took him inside. There is no doubt that had he not picked our volunteers lawn to collapse on he wouldn’t have made it thru the night. He was in very rough shape and was whisked to the vet the next morning. Our awesome volunteer painstakingly nursed him back to health and he’s now ready for a forever home.
Considering all that he’s gone through Lucky is a very nice, gentle cat that loves attention. He never used his claws and has never nipped or bit those who were trying to help him even though we can only imagine how much pain he was in while healing. He’s recently started to play with some toys, totally loves to snuggle, and gets along with other cats. He may or may not have met a dog in the past, we just don’t know.
What we do know is that fate stepped in that night and guided him to where he needed to be. We’d love nothing more than to find this little miracle of a cat a loving forever home where he’ll be safe and warm inside and receive all the loving he deserves.
*Though our volunteers try their best, we cannot guarantee that any rescued animal will be a perfect match for each resident, child, or resident pet in every foster/forever home.*
