Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi everyone!
My name is Adorable Archie – and I’m a cute, affectionate, funny and very happy pup of around one or two, who is brimming with life, love, energy and play. I’m a cuddle sized bichon of around 29 lbs which mom says is just perfect because there is more of me to love. And boy, do I have lots of love to give back.
I love my foster Mom and my foster home and my doggy foster sisters and just about everything and everyone else, too. ( Why I even love the mailman – and that’s pretty darn unique!) Mom says I smile all the time and why not? Everything in my life is so great that I can hardly contain myself! I do a mean Bichon Buzz around the house with my doggy sisters and have even taught Mom a game. This is how it goes, She says “I’m going to get you”! and I run around the house. Then she says it again and I run some more. Then I run to the toy box and grab my squeaky toy and shake it for all it’s worth. By then, Mom is tired so I let her go rest, but here comes the good part – I then go and cuddle really close. (That’s another favorite thing of mine to do!) Mom calls me her little lamb and smiles, which makes me smile because nothing makes me happier than to please Mom.
She says she likes to have me around because I add so much positive energy to the house It’s obvious because I’m so so happy now that I have a home again. You see, before I became a furkid, I spent a long time in a cold and noisy place called a shelter. People would come and look at me, and I did my best to let them see how special I am but no-one stopped to meet me. It seemed like I was in there for months. And I was… three whole months! That was until my Auntie from Bichon Furkids came by. Luckily, she saw me in my kennel and stopped to visit, and I came right up to her to say hello. (She could see right away that under my dirty matted coat was a great pup who would make a wonderful friend and pal.) And that’s how I became a FurKid!
Now I get to go for long walks (Mom is teaching me to walk nicely on a leash and I’m getting better every day!) and rides in the car. Sometimes we do something called ’errands’ and sometimes visits. Wherever we go we simply have a great time. I sit in my doggy car seat and watch the world go by.
Mom said that you should also know that I’m just about housebroken, use the doggy door, am crate trained, (very) handsome, smart and eager to please. There’s no doubt that I’m the ‘whole package.’ I don’t know what she means because I’m a FurKid not a package — but Mom smiles when she says that so it must be good! I love to cuddle and love being with a pack. I approach anyone, and everyone, with love and affection. In other words, I’m a delightful bichon pup!
So if you are looking for a great little guy who loves to be with people, is eager to please and ready to learn – and did I mention bubbling over with love and joy– who will need a little training, wants to give kisses, will make you giggle and smile, and if you have another active furkid who is looking for some fun, then please ask for me.
Tail wags and kisses,
Adorable, Aathletic and Affectionate Archie
