My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Patriot is in foster care with three of her siblings. She comes from a litter of 7 and the other three are with another foster. This little sweetheart is my cuddler. She will sit in my lap, giving gentle kisses, for as long as I will let her. When she is on the ground she is a wild and crazy gal, jumping and running when she plays with the other pups. She has already learned to sit for a treat. Since her mother, a Boston Terrier, was little, we don’t expect her to be much more than 20 lbs. when grown. Of course, we have no way of knowing, for sure but she will be a small dog. Patriot has been dewormed, microchipped, and has received the Distemper-Parvo combination vaccine. She will receive her second Distemper combo and Bordetella vaccine before she leaves her foster home. Since she is not yet spayed, Patriot is not available for adoption outside of the counties contiguous to Bedford County. For more information, please call the Bedford Humane Society at 540-586-6100, or go to www.bhsva.org/adoptions-home.htm to fill out an adoption application.
