My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baron is an owner surrender as his previous owner fell on hard times.

He is a 2 year old tri color neutered collie boy weighing in at 80 lbs. Baron is like a big playful bear. He will require a home with no elderly or toddlers.

Baron is friendly to all and is fine with other dogs and cats. He's bit overly friendly at times especially when he's persistently asking for attention. Baron is a smart boy and can even open latches but he still has a lot to learn. He needs an experienced owner with enough knowledge to deal with problem barking and other things like chewing toys, collars and leashes.

Baron knows sit, down and shake paw and is eager to work for treats.  He rides well in the car but needs work on standing still for grooming.  As you can tell by the description he is a work in progress.

He will need someone who is experienced and committed to making him the best canine citizen he can be. In time we think he will be an awesome collie with the right person to train him.

Baron will require a secure fenced yard.

Baron is being fostered in Southern Michigan.  His adoption fee is $400.
