My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trapper John is a handsome adult male kitty who arrived at the HSOV on May 20, 2017 after someone trapped him and brought him to our shelter. Our hearts broke when we saw that his nose/face was covered with blood after being traumatized in the trap :( Trapper John is being given extra TLC and quiet time to recover from his ordeal. He seems to be a gentle soul and was docile while we gave him vaccinations and wormer, so he may be someone's beloved pet who was at the wrong place at the wrong time :( :(

This good-looking guy has a dark brown tabby coat with white markings, a long tail, and a very sweet face. He would not open his eyes or move when we took his photos, but we wanted to post asap in hopes someone recognizes him.

Traapper John was given vaccinations, wormer, and Revolution flea treatment. He weighs 8.2 lbs. If he is not reclaimed, we will have him neutered and find him the best home ever.

UPDATE: Trapper John went home with a fantastic foster mother on May 24, 2017 and is dong quite well. He has been combo tested and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm. Trapper John was neutered on June 2, 2017 and was also given rabies vaccine.

RIP Trapper John :( He was diagnosed with FIP and euhanized on July 7, 2017 :(
