Facts about Widget

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Widget is homeless after her former owner was involved in a serious auto accident. Widget is 7 years old, mellow, and affectionate. She enjoys being petted and giving head-bonks. Widget would thrive in a calm, quiet home such as with a retired person/couple, but she is gentle enough for when the grandkids visit! Widget tolerates other cats but mainly just does her own thing. Widget is spayed, current on vaccines, and leukemia/FIV negative.

About Camden Companions

About Our Rescue Group...

Camden Companions is a small no-kill cat and rabbit rescue that is run entirely by volunteers. We find homes for a total of about 200 animals (cats, kittens, and rabbits) per year, keeping them out of local kill shelters.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our cat adoption center is located inside the Petco at 2230 W Rt. 70 in Cherry Hill, NJ. You may view the cats inside their cages anytime the store is open, but the best time to meet the cats out of the cages is on weekends from 11am-3pm. Contact admin@camdencompanions.org if you are interested in adopting but are not available during our weekend walk-in hours.

Many of our cats and kittens are in foster care. If a pet's bio does not say they are at Petco, then contact admin@camdencompanions.org to schedule a meeting.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a two page adoption application available on our website that asks relevant questions about your residence, family, and past experience with pets. If you have had pets recently then we ask for the contact information for your veterinarian. We typically process adoption applications within 1-2 days.

Adoption fees are $80 for kittens under 6 months as well as rabbits, $60 for adult cats, and $30 for senior cats or special needs animals.

Adopters are required to take their new pet to a veterinarian for an initial checkup within the first two weeks after adoption.
