Facts about Bo- Magnificent

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray, Blue Or Silver Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Super gorgeous with incredible coloring we seldom see ... Bo is a young adult about 2 years old. He arrived as a stray kitty along with his brother who got adopted directly from the shelter we rescued him from. What a prince of a cat with his silvery color...almost like a chinchilla. If you like larger cats with plush, thick fur, Bo may be for you! He also has a big, fat tail! Bo is a loving and gentle kitty who must have been someone's best friend at one time. He's very tolerant, is gentle, fine being held and eager to engage with people. He likes to be with people and he will let you scratch his ears and head for hours. He is not a lap sitter but he wants to be in the room with you. Bo plays with the kitten in his foster home, ignores the dog and backs down to an older more dominant male cat . He would not be well suited for a home with young children because noise and fast movements startle him. He is
a sensitive type guy who needs another kitty companion and really wants to get a second chance at a loving home. All medical work done. Application/adoption fee apply. Meet him in his Alexandria foster home Posted 6/ll/17

About Home Alone Feline Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. We do not have a shelter and rely on a group of dedicated foster homes to care for our felines until a "fur-ever" home can be found. We actively promote the importance of spaying and neutering and best practices in companion animal care. The majority of our cats/kittens come from high-kill shelters. We do not receive any government funding and rely on private contributions, 100% of which go to provide medical care, food and supplies.

You can support our rescue by shopping your favorite online stores through It's FREE and easy to use. Simply click on the link below which will connect you directly to our shelter's shopping page. Then shop like you always do at your favorite stores, including Amazon, Ebay, Petsmart & Home Depot. Whatever you buy, a portion of EVERY purchase will come to us in a cash donation.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our cats are in private foster homes; therefore, we require an application be completed before setting up appointments to meet them; an application can be e-mailed, faxed or mailed upon request. Adopters must be within a reasonable driving distance to No. VA ( 60 minutes); we do not ship/transport our animals. We participate in public adoption event held in various locations in the Wash.DC/No. VA areal most Sundays in conjunction with other rescuers. Please e-mail us for specifics.

Our Adoption Process...

We strive to make the "purr-fect" match through our interview and application process. Adoption fees, which range from $100-$135, include all medical work (FELV/FIV testing, shots; spay/neuter, etc); home visits are required prior to final placement. The majority of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs or as a companion to another young cat/kitten already in the home. Sorry, but we do not adopt very young kittens to families with children under 6 yrs old due to safety concerns for both child and kitten. Adopters also receive a certificate for a free comprehensive wellness exam at any Caring Hands Animal Hospital.
