My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophie is an active girl and always ready to play. She likes to pick a Toy of the Day when she goes in the play yard and will carry it around with her the entire time. On the day of her photo shoots she picked Papa Smurf and a blue ball. She should see if Gargamel is hiring-she can catch smurfs no problem! She knows the No and Sit commands. I personally feel that she is a quiet, intelligent type of dog and does not like the noise of the kennel so is taking out her nervous energy by latching on to toys. I suspect she will display a different personality in a calmer environment. She could benefit from training as it would help use some of her nervous energy by focusing on commands and letting her intelligence shine. A toy budget is a must! This lady would be in heaven with a big toy box she can call her own!

Come see Sophie at the Euclid Animal Shelter, 25100 Lakeland Blvd., Euclid, OH. The shelter is open Tues. through Sat. from noon to 4 p.m., plus 6 - 8pm on Thursday. She is current on vaccinations and will be spayed before leaving the shelter. All of these vet costs are included in the $80 adoption fee!

We do not test our animals with other cats or dogs. You are welcome to bring your dog to the shelter for a “Meet and Greet” in one of our outdoor play yards. One of our experienced volunteers will assist you.
