Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing Shades, the absolute darling with a twist of quirkiness! This little lovebug earned her name in the most adorable way imaginable. Picture this: a stray pup, scared and seeking refuge, dashes into the bushes. When we finally coaxed her out, what do we find? She's clutching a pair of sunglasses like a true fashionista! And so, Shades it is! At around 2 years old, Shades still gets a bit jittery in unfamiliar places, but oh boy, take her outdoors, and it's like she's stepped into her own magical kingdom! She transforms into a bundle of joy, bouncing around like she's on a perpetual vacation at Disneyworld! She's all about the romps, the pounces, and of course, the cuddles!
Oh, and let's talk about her social skills! When one of our volunteers brought in her nephew, Shades went into full-on charm mode! Tail wagging like a helicopter, kisses galore, and an insatiable appetite for playtime—this pup knows how to steal hearts! Despite being a tad shy around new adults, she took an instant liking to her volunteer's nephew, showering him with affection and turning on her charm in full force! But here's the scoop: she's not too fond of small dogs or cats, but put her with pals her size, and she’s good!
Now, here's where you come in. Shades is looking for a partner in adventure, someone who's ready to explore the great outdoors together. Hiking, strolling through the park—you name it, she's game! Oh, and a little extra confidence boost in new environments wouldn't hurt either. But here's the deal-sealer: a fenced-in yard would be like winning the doggy lottery for her! So, what do you say? Ready to welcome this bundle of joy into your forever home? Because trust us, the love and laughter she'll bring are worth every tail wag!
