My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snap and Pop came to Home Fur Good in January from the county shelter. They were suffering from lowered immune systems and Demodex. Thanks to donations to our Medical Fund, HFG is able to help dogs like Snap and Pop. They required a calm and quiet setting to heal and become strong and playful puppies. While in foster they lost all of their fur, grew stronger every day, and evolved into curious, lively, furry pups. They were born on October 28, 2016. Snap and Pop had so much to learn; luckily they had a foster brother to show them the cue to sit for treats, how much fun it is to walk on a leash, and how to jump up on the couch for belly rubs. They are Chihuahua and Dachshund mixes weighing 12 pounds. Snap is two-toned and the taller of the two, and he is also the more outgoing. His energy level is off the charts; he is always up for playtime and he loves to explore. Snap is more attentive and wants to learn good-doggie tricks; he enjoys the challenge of figuring out what is being asked. The adoption fee is $275 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit with our vet. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm, and Mondays by appointment, and we are located at 10220 N. 32nd Street (just south of Shea Blvd.) in Phoenix. Out-of-state adoptions to surrounding states are possible; however, an in-person introduction with us and our dogs is mandatory. We offer a low-cost vaccine clinic on Sundays from 11:00 am-2:30 pm, and a low-cost dental clinic on Wednesdays by appointment. Visit our website at www.homefurgood.org for more information.
