Wolf's Story...
Hi am WOLF! I am thought to be a border collie/newfie mix. I am 5 months old and weigh about 40 lbs. Me and my 6 siblings came to HART with a severe case of ringworm. The very next day, we all started breaking with Parvo. And we ALL survived! All of my siblings have gone to their forever homes and now it is my turn. I still have a few spots that we are waiting for hair to grow back, but I still am very handsome!

I am a great car rider. I love riding in the front seat next to my foster mommy, with my seatbelt on, of course. I am mostly housebroken, except when my foster parents don't see me paw at the door. I mean, come on, when you gotta go, you gotta go! I am still a puppy!! My foster mom says my biggest challenge is that I still did not like coming down a flight of steps. Going up is no problem. I'm just seeing how much longer she'll still carry me. I just love her!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wolf, a Cincinnati Border Collie/Newfoundland puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Newfoundland for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Border Collie/Newfoundland puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Newfoundland breeders who help with Border Collie/Newfoundland rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
