Maddy's fosterer writes....
Maddy’s favorite place is a window seat, soaking in the sunshine. After a rough start in life, she quickly responded to being in safe and peaceful surroundings.
Maddy had a very young litter when she was picked up. This was not her first litter, even though she was not yet a year old. At the Shelter, she struggled to nurse her babies as she was herself severely ill. It was uncertain whether the kittens would survive, since they were also sick. Happily, everyone pulled through and the kittens were all placed in loving homes. That was a few years back.
Today, Maddy is about 3 or 4 years old, and weighs about 10 pounds. She is litter box trained, doesn't mind being left alone and only scratches appropriate things. She is fond of belly rubs and ear scratches. She would be fine as an only cat.
