Sully's Story...
We would like you to meet Sully!

Sully is a beautiful 8 week old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. Sully joined our rescue at only a few days old when he was found alone, abandoned and buried in sand. We do not know how he got there, but we can only assume human malice. Sully was lucky to be found by our wonderful foster mama and volunteer. She bottle fed him and poured so much love into him and now he is ready to give all his love to his forever home. Sully is good with other dogs, cats and kids. He is working on house breaking and crate training but will need his forever home to continue to teach him. Sully would do best in an active home as he is a high energy pup with a lot of energy to get rid of!

If you have room in your home and heart for Sully, please visit www.because4paws.org and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sully, a Oxford Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Oxford, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy from a breeder in Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
