This handsome guy is a total rock star. Not only is he super friendly and affectionate, but he

LOVES swimming too! We introduced him to the pool and he took to it like … well, a duck to
water. Zako has it all, the model good looks and the loving personality to match. He walks well on a
leash and has good manners with people. He previously lived with children and cats, so he
should be OK with both. However, he does seem to be selective in his dog buddies, so we
definitely encourage a meet and greet for any potential adopters.

Zako is a pretty active, young guy, so he would do best in an active home. In fact, he’d likely
love hiking, running or even sports like agility and flyball. And a home with a pool would be a
dream for Zako. He is very fond of the water and fetches his ball and other toys. Right now, he
uses the steps to get in, but we’re sure that any day now he’ll be jumping in from the side.

If you’d like to make Zako an indoor member of your family, please fill out our
online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet and greets with an
approved application. All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time
and expenses. Many juggle family and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws.
