Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Reading, PA
Jazmine is a beautiful 3 year old, 65 lb. female pit bull with a rich caramel-colored coat and absolutely spectacular ears. A very intelligent and lovable girl, Jazmine is fully housebroken and knows all of her basic commands, including give-paw, and she even sits upright when you give her the command “Uppies” and will stay that way to pose for a photo! She is a strong, athletic pup who loves going on walks, she especially loves to play fetch with a ball, and even prefers to have her feet cleaned after playing outside — a tomboy yet a true girly-girl! She loves to bond with her humans and is super generous with hugs and kisses. This lovely lady needed some help learning appropriate behaviors so she was sent to doggy rehabilitation and recently graduated with flying colors! Now, she’s waiting for a new Foster or Adopter so she can leave her training facility.
Here’s what her TRAINERS have to say: “Jasmine has learned so much and is excited to find her very own home that can continue all the work she started. She has learned how to share her toys and space with others, play with male and female dogs, and walk nicely on a leash. As she loves to exercise, Jazmine would thrive in an athletic home that will provide healthy outlets for her energy by giving her long walks, hikes, or even run or bike with her! Now she is looking for a home with experienced owners of guardian-breed dogs who can provide the disciplined leadership that she needs to help her maintain her new stable, relaxed, confident behavior in a calm, structured, and balanced environment in which she can excel. A home with either similarly-sized dogs or where she can be an only dog would be best (no small dogs or cats). She enjoys playing with her canine companions and loves a good game of chase and some body checking that would make the NHL proud! Due to her size and activity level, a home with no young children would be best. Her new home should be a patient one that is willing to provide an adjustment period where she is given the opportunity to properly acclimate and learn the people, rules, pets, and new environment while building a foundation of trust and confidence in her new ‘pack-leader/s’. After all the hard work that Jazzy has put into working on her new behaviors, she is so excited to finally find a new foster - or preferably her own adopter - who is ready to start this journey together.”
PLEASE NOTE: The wonderful team who worked hard with Jazmine has graciously offered to provide training guidance and assistance to her new family throughout the transition period to help ensure her continued success. Help us reward her for all of her hard work by getting her into a new home ASAP! She is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed and ready to find her forever home.
