Jeanie is a beautiful calico lady of about 8 years old that is looking for a fresh start in life. She was adopted many years as a tiny kitten but had to come back when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. Poor Jeanie was so scared and shaken up upon arrival but once she had time to settle in, she began to relax. She is still shy when she meets new people and will need a family that will give her the time and patience to get settled into a new home. Once she gets comfortable with you, she's very mushy, sweet and loving. Jeanie lived with other pets and kids too. She doesn't seem to enjoy the company of other cats here with us but may live with one peacefully in a home. Jeanie is ready to meet a good family that will give her all of the love and care that she deserves. File#27107 3/17/07
