I’m Hootie and MomsVA is helping to find a new home for me. I’ve had a person but my person has to move and is not taking me along.

I’m 4 years young and really want to find my forever person. You see, I’m a ‘people’ dog. I am looking for a person-companion who is looking for a canine-buddy to pal around with. I have lived in a home with small children and they don’t bother me a bit. I like full grown people too. What I don’t like is being left alone for long periods of time because it makes me worry a lot. I tried being in one of those dog crates but that made me worry even more.

I can get along with other dogs as long as they are not bossy. I’ve grown up being allowed to be independent so I don’t like another dog who would try to push me around.
