Teagen was left in a box. Her former owner left a note explaining that she was fleeing a violent situation, and could not care for her beloved cat. The note also asked that we give this elegant tortie a new name to go with her new start. We chose Teagen which means beautiful, both because she is truly lovely and because Teagen deserves a beautiful future. Right now, Teagen is missing her former owner and life. She meows for attention, and then backs away. But Teagen is blossoming before our eyes. When you speak softly to her or gently stroke her plush fur, Teagen purrs and blinks up at you. Teagen is getting ready for a beautiful new life. Could it be with you?
