Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Money buys a lot of things, but seeing a happy, frosty-faced wiggle butt every time you walk in the door? Priceless. Our 9 year old Hedy was rescued from a shelter after being surrendered in an evident state of neglect. Her nails were overgrown, she was underweight with pressure sores on her hind end and her elbows, she had a hematoma on one ear and both ears were swollen shut, plus an untreated staph infection. Yet even with so many ailments, Hedy was nothing but sweet not to mention incredibly patient as the shelter worked to clean her up. Now up to date on all her vetting, perfectly plumped up to 53lbs. and having received a tremendous amount of love and care from her amazing foster family, our Boxer girl is healthy and ready to wiggle for a forever family. Though she is all nub shaking for her fosters, she can be timid (but not at all aggressive) when meeting new people, especially large men, and while she will do just fine with older children, she will definitely thrive most in a calm, quiet home. She would also prefer a family who takes her love for food, co-piloting (ice cream runs are her favorite), sunbathing, walks and butt scratches as seriously as she does. If there are treats involved this smarty pants will not only show off her dance moves, but her sit, stay, down, and paw too. Though Hedy has no issues seeing other dogs or walking by them, she would prefer to be your one and only at home. Our senior lady is housetrained, spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Want to start and end every day with a wiggle and a smile? Complete an application from www.omdrescue.org
