Niko is a super sweet pittie mix puppy that is about 6 months old, and is eager to find out what it's like to have a home of his own. Niko came to us with his siblings when the group was rescued from a residence in Newark where they were living in simply deplorable conditions. The puppies had little to no human interaction so they are quite shy, but Niko is one of the more outgoing of the bunch. He just loves people and while he is a little cautious at first, he is a total lovebug that adores everyone he meets. Niko does not have much worldly experience so he will need basic puppy training and help with walking on a leash, but he is doing well with leash walking and is so happy to be given attention and learn new things. He will also need a home with no kids under 10. He is playful and energetic, and would love a home where he will get lots of exercise. Niko gets along great with dogs and would benefit from going to a home with another well behaved, fun-loving dog. He is ready to meet a family that will give him the happy life he deserves.
