Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there…my name is Ruby Rose and I’m 13 pounds of pure puppy cuteness! I am 3 months old. I came to live with my SCLRR foster family when I was left in the backyard of an abandoned house. It was only me and my brother and he has already been taken in by another family.
But a little more about me … I am a playful and energetic girl. I like to play with my foster big sister, but warning -
I have sharp puppy teeth. I get tired out quickly then love my naps at someone’s feet. I am still not a fan of the crate during the day as it restricts my exploratory time in the house. However, I am happy to crawl into my crate at night and am always told in the morning that I am a very good sleeper.
I love to eat and am always searching the floor for a fallen crumb. I have even tried to climb to the countertop since something always smells good up there. Unless I am sleeping, I want to be where the action is and will follow all family members around the house until I find what I am looking for. As a puppy, I love to chew and need supervision so I do not accidently eat a priceless heirloom.
I am still working on my house training as I have not yet mastered the request of only doing business outside. I am getting better at coming when called, but not a fan of the word no. When I am sleepy, I like to be cuddled and will always share my puppy kisses.
On June 24, I will be up to date on my vaccinations and ready to meet new people and dogs.
I am told that SCLRR has the policy to adopt puppies only to dog experienced families that are not away from home a lot. Not sure what all of that means but in all honestly I love having people around as much as possible.
I am ready to find my forever family so if you think you are up for the challenge of raising the bubbly personality that is me, please contact your family rep.
