Mango's Story...
Little Mango was only 4 weeks old when a motorist was traveling on a busy highway in South Jersey and discovered the little kitten in the middle of the roadway. There were no other cats in sight, so the tiny kitten was brought to us to be safe and sheltered. Mango was so tiny and sickly when she arrived but after several weeks of good care provided by a staff member that fostered her, she's positively thriving now! Mango is 10 weeks old now and just a bundle of joy and energy. Nothing stops this little lady from having fun and enjoying life. She's a spunky and feisty little kitten that has no fear. She even stood up to a large dog that was casually sniffing her! Mango is all about fun, playing, and making friends. She gets along great with everyone she meets including people, cats and dogs. She is healthy and happy now, and ready for a great home. Mango will bring lots of joy and happiness to the good family that welcomes her home. File#27250 5/16/17

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mango, a Forked River Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
