Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This breathtaking beauty named Lipton is an absolute head turner, his golden eyes are stunning. He’s every bit as gorgeous as his pictures make him look. Lipton’s favorite song currently is “Who let the dogs out” by Baha Men. You can normally catch Lipton lounging in the sun next to his foster mom with his shades on. Lipton has also found a love for the game of catch, he is currently top of the catch leader board at his foster's house! He is fully house trained, kennel trained, sits on command and gets along great with his other foster dog friends. If you’re looking for a perfect friend to play long hours with, come meet Lipton! Here he is starring in his very own YouTube video: https://youtu.be/pWcwnlE07vU
Lipton was rescued from a high intake rural outdoor shelter in Southeastern Missouri where he was on death row. There is no adoption program there, his only way out was to be rescued. Dolly's Legacy is honored to have saved his life and have promised him a happy home.
Lipton is a Golden Lab/Cattle Dog/mix, weighs 48 lbs and is an estimated 12 months old. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease and started on prevention.. Adoption fee is $300. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled AFTER your application has been approved. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference, home ownership & fenced yard, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records. If you are a renter, you must provide landlord contact information. For adoption guidelines and to submit an application, please go to this link: http://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility.
