My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A goofier, sillier, more comical dog than Jax would be hard to find! Jax is a clown! This 2 1/2 year old German Short-haired Pointer came to us from our Newark facility after he was unbelievably found as a stray. How someone could let this incredibly happy boy go is beyond us, especially since he loves people so much and never wants to leave your side. He practically trips you to get next to you! Jax is very puppyish, and has lots of energy. He is not for the relaxed, couch-potato-type home and will need a fenced yard to run and play in and get lots of exercise too. He absolutely loves to play and dives on his toys like he's never seen anything like them! Even with all his energy, Jax is well behaved and very gentle with people. He is very gentle with taking treats and is so loving and affectionate. He will need a little training with leash-walking though. He will bump you and trip you from time to time so he will need a home with no young children. He is good with dogs but will need a cat-free home. Jax will bring lots of fun, lots of laughs, and lots of joy into the home of the good family that welcomes him! File#27327 5/29/17
