This 1 year old and 50lb spunky, good time boy is looking for a family that loves to have fun. Gooney enjoys the company of people and his tail is always wagging. Gooney is a ball catching and chasing superstar who loves sports and friends of all ages, but does prefer to eat alone. Gooney is a sporty boy who enjoys a lot of exercise. This beefcake is a strong boy, so a handler who is physically strong as well would be best fitted for Gooney. He will do best as the only pet, but he has so much love to give, that he'll be all you need! If your family loves going on adventures and wants a best friend to join in on the fun, from hiking to drive-in movies to Frisbee tournaments, you might be the perfect match for sweet and fun loving Gooney!
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! First, CPR with be with North Shore Animal League on Friday, January 5th at Petland Discounts in Southbury, CT from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be at Petco in Southington, CT on Saturday, January 6th from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be hosting an open house at their adoption center located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury, CT on Sunday, January 7th from 10am-1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend!
The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested positive for heartworms and has been treated.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
