Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome boy is completely house trained, crate trained and is learning basic obedience as well as confidence. Joey was in our program as a young puppy. He was adopted to what we thought was a great family. We are extremely sad to say that the family took this happy, fun loving puppy and didn't treat him so nicely. THANK GOD we got Joey back but the emotional damage was done. Joey has some fear issues... he hides behind his foster home, shies away from people and will sometimes bark. He has NEVER shown any aggression, it is all fear.
We would really like a family that will continue to teach him love, compassion and work with a trainer to teach him that he is safe. He is such an amazing dog, it is so sad that in 4 months, people can hurt a dog so badly. Joey is a higher energy boy and we believe the family just couldn't handle it so locked him in a crate for hours at a time giving him no attention, then getting angry with him when they let him out because he was a hyper puppy. Joey deserves the best, and he deserves it ASAP.
