Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Renegade, or Renny for short. He is the newest little Lone Star Labrador! Renny is about 4 or 5 months old and already a solid 31 pounds. He is going to be a big boy! We think there is a bit of Great Dane mixed in with that Labrador :-) Renny is learning the ropes in his foster home... and balls and bones and chew toys!
Renny is a healthy pup and growing like a weed! He is almost housebroken and crate trained. After all, he is still a baby. Renny is in a foster home with a couple of adult Labradors, who are teaching him manners and how to be a good dog. Renny already sleeps quietly though the night. He is a smart puppy and catching on to his lessons quickly.
We would love to place Renny in a home with another medium to large breed dog that would tolerate the antics of a puppy with lots of energy. Dogs can teach puppies so much more than people can.
Like any young Labrador, Renny needs a family that is willing to give him the time, exercise and training to be a great companion. Obedience training and crating are essential with young Labs, as well as plenty of exercise. Labs don't come well behaved naturally, but they do come with plenty of energy and enthusiasm!
If there are children in the home, they need to be at least 10 years old.
Renny is neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention.
See our web site for complete information about adopting Renny. His adoption fee is $395. www.LoneStarLabRescue.org
