Ada Is a Sweet Girl Who Loves People 8 year old, large, female, black and red, German Shepherd
Good with other dogs: Unknown
Good with cats: Unknown
Good with children: Yes
Ada is a large, senior girl, but she is incredibly sweet, gentle
and loving,and we really want this wonderful girl to find a loving home. Ada lost her home through
no fault of her own and would love nothing more than a loving, quiet home with people who are home most of the time to dote on her. This beautiful girlis housebroken and crate trained. And the best part is that she absolutely loves all people, especially kids!She seems to be fine with other respectful dogs too. It’s doubtful she’d be good with cats though as we’ve observed she has a high prey drive. She walks great on a leash and absolutely loves her daily walks. She’s well behaved and has a smile on her face and gets excited when it’s time to go for her walk. She’s also a talker, especially if you don’t get her dinner ready on time, which is so cute. Ada has Anal Fistula and needs daily medication as well as plenty of access to potty breaks. But she does great in a home where she would have access to a doggie door so she can go out on her own. She prefers to be crated when her people aren’t home; we’ve observed some anxiety when she’s left alone. And because she’s so darn sweet and loving, it would be great if she could have a family that works or home or is homemore oftenthan not. She does love to play, but she’s also content just hanging out by your side and watching Netflix. If you’re looking for a friendly, sweet companion to stay by your side and keep you company, Ada is your girl. Saving Paws is a registered 501c3 not for profit corporation. All personnel are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Donations of food, supplies and dollars always appreciated and allow us to help more dogs.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Currently our resources do not allow one central facility for our operations. We have many dogs in foster care and board others at the Canine Country Club. They are located in Phoenix, Arizona. All adoptions are by appointment. We do our best to be available and accommodate your schedule. However, being volunteer, we ask for your patience and assistance in all matters. A minor inconvenience is a small price to pay for helping a dog in need.

"Saving Paws" also participates in numerous adoption events year around. We will post these to our website and to this venue as they are scheduled.

Our Adoption Process...

"Saving Paws" works individually with each potential adopter to assure a good match and successful placement. The specific adoption process can vary and includes:

* Telephone and or email consultation.
* "Meet & Greet" with selected animals. We request that all family members and pets be present.
* Adoption application and reference check.
* Home visit
* Completion of the adoption process.
* Any additional follow up or assistance required.

Adoption fees and donations offset the extremely high cost of veterinary care, food, boarding and numerous other expenses.
