Pumpkin's Story...
Bet you haven't met a kitten as sweet as him! Pumpkin is a 3 1/2 month old kitten looking for his new best friend(s)! His mother was brought in VERY pregnant after being considered to be too much responsibility and she was able to find a foster to take her while she had and raised her kittens. Once they got a clean bill of health they were ready to leave the nest and find homes of their own! Pumpkin is SUPER outgoing and he doesn't believe in strangers; they're only friends he hasn't met yet. He adores attention so if you're not playing with him or petting him, then he'll see to it that you give him the love he craves! Anything and everything is a toy to him so whether it's a laser, a shoelace, or even the litter scoop, if you're interacting with it then clearly it's something that he can play with. Pumpkin gets along great with other kitties and doesn't mind the company of pups either so he would fit right in to any family! He is microchipped, current on his vaccines, and will be neutered once he is adopted. He's sure to make you smile for many years to come! He's available at the Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook so stop by today! We're open daily from 12-6.

*Through July, all cats and kittens are 75% off their adoption fee!*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pumpkin, a Benbrook Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
