My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello Everyone,
I’m Kiwi and I’m delighted to meet you! My foster Mom says to tell you that I’m a cute, lovable, smart and happy little guy of three who is very puppy-like. I’m a bouncy little guy who likes to play with my toys all day, is smart and knows lots of commands. I understand words like ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘here and am happy to learn lots more! Mom says because I’m smart and learn quickly!
Mom says I also like yoga. Well, what she means is that I like when she does yoga! When she brings out her yoga mat I come over and roll around on it until she rubs my tummy – then I smile and let her continue with her workout.

I’m housebroken, do not mark (that is not a typo!) and I smile a lot. I LOVE to go for rides in the car and am very well-behaved. I do, however, still need to work on my ‘walking behavior.’ Being on a leash is pretty new to me so I need to continue my training.

When Mom comes home from an errand I do the best Bichon Buzz she has ever seen, showing her how happy I am that she’s home! (Aw, gee, Mom! That’s quite a compliment because I know you’ve seen a lot of good Bichon buzzes!)

I’m a very grateful little guy who plays nicely with my doggy foster brothers and sisters and is naturally a very active little guy. Mom thinks I could be an ‘only’ and the world’s best companion as long as I have a pack leader for a Mom or Dad (or both.) There is no doubt that I want to please — and that I do best with structure and someone who I can trust to train me.

What I need now is someone who wants a loving companion, who enjoys going for rides, playing and snuggling. I need to practice walking and would benefit from training and guidance. Mostly I need someone who will be loving and consistent with me, train and work with me (Mom says I’m smart and want to please) and enjoy my happy spirit.

If that sounds like you, please tell my Aunties. I’ll be waiting to meet and greet you.

Tail wags and lots of love,
Kissable and Kooky Kiwi
