6-7 year old, F, Long Haired Calico, Munchkin/Manx Mix
bonded with Leo and must be adopted with him
A Calico Munchkin/Manx mix…now if that doesn’t sound like a unique and fabulous kitty!
A very dear friend of Poppi’s current owner tells us that Poppi is hilarious when she walks away, because it looks like she is wearing old-fashioned pantaloons and you’d think she was carrying a parasol with her high society sway. Who wouldn’t want to watch something so adorable on a daily basis?
Yes, it is always so heartbreaking to get a request to help find a permanent home for a beloved pair of kitties. It is only because their owner’s health is fragile that taking care of her sweet kitties is something she cannot do for much longer. She contacted our organization to help find a wonderful home for this sweet pair.
Poppi is bonded with her handsome boyfriend Leo, who is an equally engaging kitty. Just look at that picture of them together – it is so sweet.
When Leo likes to hang out with his human mom and Poppi feels left out (perhaps a bit jealous?), she mews her displeasure and he, purrfect boyfriend that he is, comes running to her. When Poppi’s current owner lies down during the day, Poppi likes to snuggle up for a good nap right next to her. She likes to play with her human mom’s hair at times – reminiscent of some grooming behavior.
Since their owner is elderly and doesn’t have children or grandchildren, Poppi has not been exposed to any children. However, cat savvy children are typically not an issue with sweet kitties.
Poppi has not been exposed to other cats or to dogs, so we don’t know how she would do with other felines or canines.
She is up to date with all of her vaccinations and she uses her litter box without any issues. Oh, and when it comes to eating, Poppy apparently will eat everything that doesn’t bite back.
If you are interested in giving these two beautiful cats a permanent home, please contact Frauke at 925-784-8244 or email@example.com and submit an Adoption Application.
Please note that Poppi is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but residing with her current owner in Stockton, CA while being placed in her new home.
