Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Teddy! Named appropriately because according to my foster mom I am a definite teddy bear. Word on the street is I am approx. 7 years old and VERY well mannered. You want a dog who's crate trained? That's me! You want a dog who's house trained? Me also! You want a dog who walks well on a leash and rides great in the car? Yep, you guessed it, I have ALL those qualities along with many more. My foster mom says it's amazing how well I have adjusted to life at her house because where I came from I had little socialization and was an outside dog only. I've learned that I love being in the house with my foster family and LOVE sleeping on the bed, so if you are looking for an outside only dog, keep scrolling on, because that is NOT me!! My foster mom tells me I deserve to be inside and part of the family! A little human lives here and I really like her. Because I am a little older I would be more suited to a more relaxed doggie companion - while I like to play, I don't like someone jumping in my face all the time and will let them know when I've had enough. I like all of the dogs here, even the little one but we respect each other's space. There are goats and horses here too, if you have these kinds of animals please be prepared to keep me securely away from them, I am a malamute after all and a strong prey drive is in our DNA!! I am pretty athletic and in really good shape so please plan to take me on lots of hikes and walks and have a fence that will keep me safe.
