Trixie is a dog who simply loves life!! Her tail wags so hard that it touches both sides of her back. Every time you walk in the room, "thump thump thump" goes that tail. She is a happy, eager-to-please dog with good manners and great leash skills. She is full of energy but loves to cuddle with you on the couch and thank you for the walk afterwards.
Trixie’s current foster parents just love her smiles and positive energy. Most of all they love seeing her romp through the tall grass and enjoy being a dog. She is not the fastest, but she just loves to run and play with other dogs when given the chance. Fully house trained and sits politely when waiting for her food, she has become a great dog for almost any family.

Trixie is a beautiful Pointer/mix girl who came to Dolly's Legacy along with her sister, Dottie. They were born June of 2016 and weigh just under 50 lbs. They spent their first year with a rescue in Oklahoma after they had been found abandoned in a park as 8-wk-old pups. They are ready to start the next chapter in their lives with a forever family. While not bonded, they do like to be together and Trixie would love a home with either another dog or her sister.
Trixie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative & dewormed. Adoption fee is $200. If adopting Trixie & Dottie as a sister duo, the adoption fee is $300 total. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled AFTER your application has been approved. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference, home ownership & fenced yard, although not required. Home ownership is verified through court records. If you are a renter, you must provide landlord contact information.
