Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Logan is one very good-looking boy! Nearly 2-years old, weighing 55 pounds he is one happy yellow lab/husky mix. His family describes him as affectionate, joyful, playful, well-behaved and very eager to please. Do you like what you here? Are you willing to give to receive? Are you ready, willing, and able to work with and help this guy build his confidence and overcome his insecurities; to reap the rewards of a forever friendship, everlasting love, true companionship, and enduring loyalty? If so, READ ON!
Logan suffers from, Separation Anxiety. He loves his people, he loves other dogs and he stresses when he finds himself alone. Logan is currently being treated with medication to help him cope. Unfortunately, Logan lives alone with his parents, no kids, canine companions, no companionship throughout the day. This behavior was not noted or seen in his foster home where there was constant canine companionship. We believe Logan would do best in a home with another dog, a stay at home/work from home parent, or one with someone that had the luxury of bringing him to work.
Let me quote Logan’s mom, “Logan is very affectionate, gentle and loving. He is good with other dogs and did very well around a one-year-old child, very gentle. This dog is a DREAM! Except for being left alone. He needs a companion…makes no difference who. He needs another dog or to be with people.”
Logan is a medium energy boy who walks well on a leash, is house trained but does not do well in a crate. He knows some basic commands; sit, lay down, off, and no. He is learning come and stay, very food motivated. Loves his people, enjoys riding in the car and playing. He simply wants to be loved and be with his family. Logan does well off leash and has good recall; no experience with cats.
Logan has been neutered, is up to date on his vaccines and been micro-chipped. Are you ready to be this boy’s hero?
