Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi everyone! My name is Aunt May. Don't let my name fool you, I'm not the aunty type...sheesh...I'm only two years old! I suppose I could be an aunt. I probably am. Not sure. But enough about that - we're talking about me. Don't you think I'm pretty? I love my soft, silky fur and my pretty eyes. I'm still very young and playful like a kitten. Oh how I love to play! I will play for hours, if you can keep up with me. The best place to play? The big cat tree. That is my favourite place to hang out and play. I really like toys on sticks - feathers, mice, balls, anything dangly! I wasn't that friendly at first. When I first came to the adoption centre, I was very scared and nervous. But since everyone has been playing with me so much, I'm getting much better. I've learned that getting pets is a good thing and I'm really starting to like them. I used to run away and not let anyone touch me but now I will let you - I've even started to lean into the pets, so you know I must like them. Just because I might take off if you try to pick me up, doesn't mean I don't like you. I'm just not a big fan of being picked up. No big deal - lots of cats don't like being picked up. It's a cat thing. When I come to your home, just give me some time to be shy at first and don't touch me until I'm ready. But I will still love to play with you! I would probably like another kitty friend to play with too.
I was a very young mother found living outside with my kittens when a vet found us and took us in. After all of my kittens found their forever homes, the vet surrendered me to the kind folks at the rescue so that I can find my own forever home.
If you think you can keep up with me and have lots of toys and time to play with me, please let me come to your home and watch me blossom into a friendly, playful kitty!
