We can’t be sure which of Hugo’s littermates was born first, but our money is on Hugo. He is the absolute leader of his siblings. He will be the first to investigate and try new things. Hugo didn’t hesitate for a second before jumping in for a quick swim in the puppy pool -- much to mom’s worry! But don’t fret -- he is a natural born swimmer and would love trips to the lake or a home with a pool. Hugo is almost always involved in play time and napping isn’t really his style. He is the largest of all the Mallory pups and definitely the most adventurous. He does well with potty training if kept on a schedule and sleeps through the night (but of course, he has to be the last to fall asleep so he can steal all the toys!) Hugo would make the perfect companion for a family who loves activities -- are you going to take him on his next adventure?

Mallory and her six puppies were rescued from Southern Oklahoma and came to Dolly's Legacy looking to find a better life. We are honored to be a part of their journey to find the forever families they deserve.

Hugo appears to be an Anatolian Shepherd/mix pup born 5/12/17. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Adoption fee is $400. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled AFTER your application has been approved. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference, home ownership & fenced yard, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records. If you are a renter, you must provide landlord contact information.
