Facts about PATSY-STERLING SWEETHEART

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray, Blue Or Silver Tabby
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 1743
  • Hair: Short
This sterling silver sweetie was brought into rescue with three littermates and their momma. Patsy was well past weaning age, but she loved being doted on by her momma and stuck by her side like glue. Even though she’s on her own now, she continues to love affection and being spoiled by her foster family.

She has her own special kitty foster room that she shares with her siblings but is yearning to have a whole house of her own to explore. She’s an inquisitive girl and spends a good part of her day playing patty cakes under the door with the housecats that live on the other side.

Patsy has a medium play drive and is happy to bounce around burning off energy with her siblings or a fluffy toy to hunt. She has been introduced to the dogs in her foster home and gets along with them great. Patsy is curious and fun-loving and just loves to hang out with her companions, human or animal. Because she is so sociable, she will need a home with another pet to keep her company when her human family is away.

Patsy is litter box trained and uses her scratching post like a good girl. She is currently eating Iams dry kitten food. Her estimated birth date is 4/25/2017. Don’t wait on this one, fill out an application on Patsy and make this sweetie yours today!

About Furry Friends Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Furry Friends Animal Rescue

We are a new group started in 2013 by a large group of experienced rescuers - we wanted to be part of an ethical rescue group which would allow us to help homeless cats and dogs in the North Texas area. We value all the experience and knowledge brought to this group by the volunteers so the group is member based. We welcome new volunteers and fosters, both experienced or new to rescue. You can contact us by email or through our website - we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All our cats and dogs live in foster homes so we don't have a physical shelter for you to visit.
A selection of FFAR cats will be showcased EVERY DAY at:

McKinney Craig Ranch PetSmart at Custer/Hwy 121
AND
McKinney PetSmart #1751 N. Central Expressway.

Adoption Counselors will be in attendance at both PetSmarts on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday from 11 am - 4 pm. and Sunday from 12 noon - 4 p.m.

A selection of the FFAR dogs will be at the Craig Ranch McKinney PetSmart (Custer/Hwy121) on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays of the month from usually 11 am - 4 p.m.
Adoption Counselors will be in attendance during that time.

If you are interested in meeting any of our cats or dogs, just send us an email or fill out an Adoption Application on our website. The Adoption Application is not a commitment just a means of introduction. We look forward to hearing from you!

Our Adoption Process...

We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis - it is our goal to find the right home for the cat or dog as well ensuring that the cat or dog is the right match for it's new family. A win/win situation.
For dogs, we require an application, home visit for approved application, and home trial period to ensure that it's a good fit for the dog and the family.
For cats, we require an application, but do allow same-day adoptions. Our goal is to find our fosters a "forever" home.
Our Adoption Fees are $140 for cats and $175 for dogs.

All our cats and dogs are fully vetted prior to adoption - this includes all age-appropriate vaccinations, feline leukemia/aids testing, heartworm tests, deworming, spay or neuter, microchips and other medical treatment as required.

You can fill out an Adoption Application online on our website.
