Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shorty is a handsome adult male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on July 18, 2017 after he was found in the Lowell Ohio area.
Shorty has a gray tabby short smooth coat, a long gray tail, and a darling face with dark golden eyes. He is a friendly guy who is actually a real lovebug, so his photos are not in tune with his lovable personality! Shorty is understandably a bit nervous about being in a small cage in an unfamiliar environment and is a different boy when you hold him in your arms :)
Our kennel techs are doing their best to make him feel welcome and are taking great care of him. Shorty was a little 'under the weather' and had an issue with his left eye when he entered our shelter. Thanks to our fantastic kennels techs (and some antibiotic eye ointment), Shorty is looking great in his updated photos which were taken on August 3rd.
Shorty was given vaccination, wormer, and Revolution flea treatment on July 18, 2017. He weighed 6 lbs. on that date. Shorty will be neutered before going home with his new family. He is available for foster or rescue at any time.
Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues.
Shorty was neutered on September 20, 2017 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 6.9 lbs on that date.
Shorty was combo tested on March 27, 2018 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm.
